Type meets image through Separation, Fusion, Inversion.
Separation: Type and image are kept as separate entities. Fusion: Type appears as if it is integrated into the image. Fragmentation: Type and Image “Displace” Each Other Solution. Inversion: Type and image fuse by exchanging roles.
Working with Jazz music genre, my three Calendar designs utilize the relationship between the image and type in the three posters.

Type meets image through separation, inversion and fusion. Working with Jazz music genre, the calendar designs utilize the relationship between the image and type. In my illustrations, I wanted to create graphics that reflect jazz personality: asymmetrical, irregular, dynamic, bold, condensed, harmonious, complex, flat, and abstract.
•Separation: Type and image are kept as separate entities.
•Inversion: Type and image fuse by exchanging roles.
•Fusion: Type appears as if it is integrated into the image.
